Enabling schools to provide the best possible education for everyone needs to be a joint effort of all stakeholders in the educational system. Thinking and acting in networks, research including teachers rather than viewing them as subjects of research – joint efforts like these are needed in order to strengthen the impact of results from educational research in educational practice and policy.
In the online forum, three international examples of good practice for joint efforts are presented. All of them aim to further develop and impact the quality of educational institutions with different approaches and in different constellations: Bringing together students, parents and the community, bridging the gap between research and practice or connecting schools with researchers. With their respective approaches, the institutions provide facilitation and structure for working together.
